In this gripping episode of 'By All Means Necessary', host Marco Morillo sits down with his first sponsor, Len, who has been clean for an incredible 16 years. Len's early life was marked by relentless bullying due to his speech issues, but he found refuge in sports.
As a high school athlete, he steered clear of alcohol and drugs until a football injury changed everything. Prescribed Vicodin at 18, Len's journey into addiction began, spanning 34 long years and involving a variety of substances. Despite the dark path he walked, Len had a transformative moment during treatment that he attributes to a higher power. His 'God' moment was the turning point that led him to Narcotics Anonymous and the 12-step program.
