I found that, I don't know, you probably find the same, but middle-aged women is the demographic that I'm working with the most because that's where dysfunctional drinking seems to be happening so much. I run programs, courses that create community at the same time as offering support so women come into my programs and they feel a sense of connection with others and that they've got other people on the journey with them so they don't feel so alone.

Ever felt like the holidays are a minefield for your sobriety? You're not alone. In this episode, Danni Carr chats with sober coach and mentor Sarah Rusbatch about her journey from childhood binge drinking to becoming a beacon of support for others. Sarah opens up about how early insecurities and a need for acceptance fueled her drinking habits, leading to some wild party years. But it didn't stop there.

Motherhood and a move to Australia brought new challenges, and Sarah found herself drinking more as she battled loneliness and the monotony of parenting in a new country. Sarah's story is one of transformation and resilience.
