It's achievable by anybody, Steve, and as I tell my story- and I talk to patients here at retreat, I basically tell them the three key components to my long-term sobriety is first an honest, sincere, committed surrender, and then it's a practice of this new way of life, the steps, the traditions of alcoholics anonymous, and then a relationship with their god.
