Healing Through Meditation: Nurturing Your Inner Child After Narcissistic Abuse

When we start doing the work- inner work, to try to find out what it was that kept us there instead of leaving like a person with healthy boundaries- and all of that probably would have done early on- what kept us in a relationship with an abusive person, who was so disordered and maladapted, would sometimes be childhood toxic programming and scripts, a wounded inner child from also trying to recapitulate a similar relationship with our disordered partner that we had that same relationship dynamic with our parents or someone from our early childhood, ages two to six.
Ever wondered how meditation can mend the scars left by narcissistic abuse? In this episode of N.A.R.C. Troopers, host Prajinta Pesqueda delves into the transformative power of guided meditation for survivors. The episode kicks off with a brief yet insightful explanation of how meditation can be a balm for emotional trauma. Prajinta then takes listeners on a 20-minute journey, encouraging them to connect with their younger selves and balance their inner energy.
It's like a warm hug for your soul, helping you to set healing intentions and understand that recovery is a winding road, not a straight path. But it’s not just about the meditation. Prajinta dives deep into the role childhood trauma plays in abusive relationships. She explains how early toxic programming can make survivors more susceptible to staying in harmful dynamics, often mirroring relationships they had with caregivers.
This discussion sheds light on why anxiety, depression, and self-doubt are common companions on the road to recovery. The episode wraps up with a message of empowerment, urging survivors to find their voice and speak their truth. Prajinta's soothing guidance provides a safe space for listeners to acknowledge their wounds and begin the healing process. If you're looking for a practical tool to aid your recovery, this episode offers a nurturing blend of wisdom and support.
Whether you're at the beginning of your healing journey or further along the path, Prajinta's guided meditation is a comforting companion. It’s a gentle reminder that while the journey may have its ups and downs, setting intentions and practicing self-care can pave the way to a brighter, more balanced future.
