“If you do kick somebody out, which is a really hard bottom line for a lot of families to adhere to. And I understand, which is why I have other ways to go about doing it and to make it uncomfortable. But the fact of the matter is an addict is a survivor. If you kick them out of the house and they're freezing and there's nowhere for them to go, they'll be like, all right, I'll take a warm cotton, warm cotton, three hot meals right now over being freezing and doing heroin.”
