“We've had several pregnancies that didn't work out and that was really hard on both of us. Things like that can cause people to break up, separate. There can be a feeling of hopelessness that this dream is not going to come true. And so, kind of what's left and you put all your eggs in one basket and then that doesn't happen. We were kind of prepared for the fact that this might not be in the cards for us, you know. It kind of got to that point. But at the same time, we just figured like, we need to at least do everything we can to know that we gave it, we gave it a good shot. And so this was kind of like our Hail Mary sort of situation with this last kind of like, all right, let's see if this can actually happen. And, you know, and I mean, our prayers were answered and, you know, and then it was just waiting and waiting.”
