Prayer and Creativity: Unlocking Spiritual Growth in Recovery

Prayer is not an extra frill, it is an essential, and I can remember when my children were smaller and they were all- all four of them- at home, and I was very busy and my life was very full, and I would take the Daily word with me to work and go into the ladies' room and close the stall door and read the Daily word and have my daily prayer there, because it was the only quiet place I could be.

Is prayer just a nice-to-have or the key to unlocking your true potential? In this episode of 'Spirit of Recovery', hosts Rev. Dan Beckett and Rev. Michelle Vargas dive into this question with special guest Terry Lund, a Unity minister and former Chair of the Prayer Department at the Unity ministerial school. Raised in a New Thought household, Terry brings a lifetime of experience and wisdom on the transformative power of prayer and the creative process.

She argues that prayer is not just an extra frill but a foundational practice that can guide us to what truly matters and help us achieve it. The conversation covers how prayer can enhance creative living, the role of visualization and manifestation, and practical tips for integrating prayer into daily life. They also touch on equine therapy and the power of positive thinking.

If you're looking to deepen your spiritual practice and enhance your recovery journey, this episode offers a wealth of practical insights and inspiration.
