“I was trying as hard as I could to make this thing work and, and also at the same time, I was not doing the thing I most needed to do, which was to get honest, and I was afraid, like I said, I was afraid that I couldn't tell them because I would get kicked out, and I thought if I got kicked out, it would be the end of the world for me and I would I would die.”
