Clara S: Finding Hope and Purpose in Recovery
My life was always motivated by fear, self-centered fear, and I can remember being in the first grade and just terrified of those other kids and I didn't know how to interact with people. And Today I look around the art world and I read the art sections, and I see on television some of the students I went to school with who are famous in that world Today. And I'd sit in there and look at the movies and just daydream and how people lived, and I'd watch those families and god, I thought how wonderful that must be and I wondered if that would ever happen to me, and I'd never seen alcohol. So I opened my mouth and drank the whole thing.
Imagine facing your deepest fears and insecurities head-on, only to emerge stronger and more hopeful.
