From Childhood Pain to Cosmic Trust: Estelle Bingham’s Defining Moments
Episode Overview
- Early awareness that painful circumstances are not permanent can soften the impact of a difficult childhood.
- Simple, short daily meditation from a young age can help build grounding and connection beyond immediate circumstances.
- Focused manifestation, backed by practical steps and faith, can open unlikely career paths such as TV presenting.
- Motherhood can trigger deep shadow work but also clarify a sense of purpose and service to others.
- Letting go of relationships, beliefs and patterns that "don’t serve" you, especially around full moons, creates space for healthier love and opportunities.
“There’s an unparalleled power and strength in returning to that place and it takes a lot of courage to go there.”
Gain insights from experts and survivors on how early wounds, spiritual practice and bold life choices can reshape a whole lifetime. This conversation centres on holistic healer and author Estelle Bingham as she shares three big turning points that shaped who she is today.
First, she talks about growing up with a "wounded" and sometimes narcissistic mother, and the quiet moment as a four-year-old when she realised, "this will not last forever." That awareness, plus starting transcendental meditation at just six or seven, helped her manage toxic parenting and trauma. Estelle explains how children "absorb" trauma into the emotional body and why returning to the inner child can reconnect you to your original "soul energy" and self-love.
Her second defining chapter is pure manifestation in action: a drifting twenty-something backpacker who decides she wants to be a TV presenter, makes a vision board, takes a low-level media job, and eventually lands a children’s TV role on CBBC. She frames this as a "destiny moment" that showed her how daily focus and trust can bring a dream to life. The final pivot comes with motherhood and life in Los Angeles.
Living under the Hollywood sign, Estelle finds herself clearing the energy of her apartment building and suddenly people are turning up at her door for healing. From there, she leans fully into her calling as a holistic healer, working with clients on self-care, self-belief and showing up for their own potential.
Along the way she and host Roxie Nafousi chat about moon cycles, full-moon rituals, journalling, letting go of draining relationships, and why true manifestation is less about control and more about surrender and trust. If you’re feeling stuck, tired or clinging to something you know you’ve outgrown, this conversation might nudge you to ask: what would it look like to finally let go and back yourself?
