Man, when I look back in just a short time, I mean, the last five years of my life have been insane, like in a good way. I mean, there's been times where I want to quit, throw in the towel. I'm like, God, why is my bank account negative again? All the things. I'm not saying that, you know, come to church, love Jesus. But I'm saying he's going to make your life better in different ways, ways that you could not imagine. And I say this all the time. I would not trade one day on this side for 10,000 days the way it used to be.

The holiday season can be a mixed bag of emotions. While some find joy, others grapple with envy and longing for what they don't have. In this episode of Cedar Point Recovery, Pastor Aaron Shaw dives into these feelings of jealousy and the constant chase for 'greener grass'. Drawing from his own experiences and biblical teachings, Pastor Shaw opens up about how envy can eat away at our happiness and disrupt our lives.

He points out that envy is more than just wanting what others have; it's a heart issue that can lead to chaos if left unchecked. But there's hope. By focusing on God's plan for us and practising gratitude, we can shift our mindset. Pastor Shaw encourages listeners to celebrate others' successes and find contentment in their own blessings. Through prayer and thanksgiving, we can guard our hearts against envy and cultivate a sense of peace.

This episode is a heartfelt reminder to trust in God's goodness and find joy in what we have, rather than what we lack.
