I have made it a point to make everything that I do accessibility as a part of that. Wow, that's great. Do you talk about your own disability? Yeah. As of lately, it hasn't always been that way. There was a time where I wasn't okay telling people that I had a visual disability. But in the accessibility space, I have found a way to incorporate my own personal experiences, my lived experiences, to make the trainings, education, the conversations, all of that more valuable because it's coming from someone with that lived experience.
Ever wondered how embracing adversity can lead to groundbreaking change? Meet James Warnken, a remarkable individual who has transformed his visual disability into a powerful tool for advocacy and innovation. In this episode of 'Blindsight', host Bill Lundgren sits down with James to discuss his unique journey. James opens up about the hurdles he faced, from societal stereotypes to personal doubts, and how he overcame them with resilience and determination.
He delves into the importance of inclusivity and diversity, shedding light on how his experiences have fueled his passion for digital accessibility. This conversation isn't just about overcoming a disability; it's about leveraging it to make a meaningful impact. James's story is a testament to the power of intentional living and self-acceptance.
