“Healing is a process. It can come at odd times. For the first time in my sobriety, I look forward to coming back to Michigan. I want to walk into my old work and see people who know me, visit all those people who are so special to me. 30 years of my life I had basically numb myself from looking at so I wrote a wine list and it gave me back a huge chunk of my soul. It works if you work it one day at a time.”
