Mary's story is a heartfelt journey of transformation. Growing up, she was engulfed in rage and anger, thinking it was normal. It wasn't until she started attending church that she realized there was a different way to live. The turning point came when she found herself in an abusive relationship, which made her recognize the depth of her struggles. Through the Celebrate Recovery program at Big Valley Grace Community Church, Mary discovered the healing and support she desperately needed.

She learned to surrender her loved one's addiction to God, trust in His plan, and focus on building a meaningful relationship with her loved one rather than his addiction. Today, Mary sponsors and supports others on their recovery journeys, living one day at a time and finding peace and joy in each moment. Her story showcases the power of faith, surrender, and community in overcoming life's challenges.
