I remember having so much shame and feeling just horrible about things. You know, when I was away at home, I knew everything that was being said at home. I mean, I didn't know for a fact what was being said, but I could imagine, right. And, um, I just, uh, remember when I was getting ready to leave residential, I was like, I told my husband, like, take me to the grocery store. And so it was just like, I'm going to just start taking this by the reins and letting people know that we don't have to hide. We are human and we can make mistakes, but those mistakes can make like a beautiful life for us. It's just, it's so, I am so relatable to that because I didn't go away to treatment, but when I did get sober, I was, I had so much shame that I coined, I literally patented with the U.S.
