I often bring clients that we have to work out to come exercise because I believe in it. It's to be able to sit in a room and hear the truth about yourself that you don't like and be grateful for it and take it. And I think a lot of people get into addiction through external because they're running from internal.
What happens when a tough Marine faces his greatest battle within? Sean Dalton joins Casey Scott and Dr. Matt Woolley on 'Project Recovery' to share his compelling journey from growing up in a traditional New York household to becoming a Marine, and eventually grappling with addiction. Sean delves into the profound impact of his father's acceptance, which fueled his determination to become a Marine.
However, the pressures of military life led him down a dark path of alcohol and cocaine dependency. Sean doesn't shy away from discussing his time in jail and the mistakes he made during his addiction. His candid reflections underscore the importance of emotional honesty and seeking help. This episode is a powerful reminder that true strength lies in vulnerability and the willingness to confront one's inner demons.
