“The miracle of being saved, your salvation happens instantly. But sanctification takes a lifetime. So I'm still working on getting closer to the Lord and walking with him. But it started then. And in the last 20 or 30 years, you know, we've gone to different churches because we've moved around. Maria has grown a lot in her faith as well. come closer to God and through small groups, through people that have touched our lives, through events that, you know, through mission trips where we've gone and we've seen God at work in the most awful places, just connecting and trying to be a part of God's world.”
