I don't think marijuana is the worst thing on the planet. There are negative things that go along with marijuana. Four, I get super frustrated with some of the conversations I see online about marijuana, even from other therapists who are sharing misinformation or in other ways acting like marijuana is not a big deal and we shouldn't be paying any attention to it in therapy at all.

How does marijuana fit into the world of therapy? In this episode of 'All Things Substance', host Betsy Byler tackles this pressing question head-on. With legalization on the horizon, it's more important than ever for therapists to understand marijuana's role and impact. Betsy, a seasoned therapist and substance abuse counselor, dives deep into the basics of marijuana, from its usage to the significance of THC potency.

She doesn't just stop at the surface; she explores how these factors intersect with mental health therapy. Betsy's candid discussion is grounded in her extensive experience with chronic marijuana users and her personal recovery journey, making her insights both authentic and practical. This episode is a must-listen for therapists aiming to have informed and effective conversations about marijuana with their clients.
