You know, I just felt different and the rest of the steps and my life just like all the chaos and the mess that seemed that I was in when I got here that seemed too much to sort out you know I mean it was just seemed like I'd screwed up so bad but everything just seemed to I don't know just like work out a little bit do you know I mean like it was all it was all coming together and um you know it was just just incredible and like loads of brilliant stuff happened the first few years of recovery it's just like i got you know i finished my a-levels moved to work went to uni spent on girls holidays was just really active like doing service in the group you know i mean it was just like from going to this suicidal mess i couldn't catch a bus i couldn't take responsibility for my life i couldn't think straight you know i mean i couldn't sleep properly and all of that come here admit defeat you know what i mean get a sponsor do suggestions work the steps i was just like flying my life has just taken off and um it's just been just been incredible and um you know if you are new you know don't miss out you may think this is that and do you know what i mean again yeah and this is real crap you know don't miss out you may think this is that and do you know what i mean again here and this is real crap you know i mean like feeling awful and just life is over and it just just that horrible feeling as a newcomer when you arrive here but there's so much on offer in alcoholics anonymous the solution to your problem and um you know and you can recover and have a good life and um you know that's what i've had i've had a good life
