Hopelessness can be an unexpected companion on the journey to sobriety. In this episode of the Omar Pinto Coaching podcast, Omar Pinto tackles the heavy topic of finding meaning in suffering and feelings of hopelessness. Matt, who is a year and a half into his sobriety, finds himself grappling with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, a challenge he thought was behind him. Struggling to see beyond his OCD, Matt turns to Omar and the Recovery Coaching Group for support.

Should he keep fighting these feelings, or accept them as his new normal? This episode also features Travis, another individual healing from addiction. Travis is having trouble building a routine and finding discipline. The group steps in to offer actionable advice on creating structure in his day, pursuing his passions, and keeping recovery at the forefront. Omar's expertise shines through as he delves into the root of these emotions and emphasizes the importance of neuroplasticity and building bandwidth in recovery.

Listeners are left with practical steps and a renewed sense of hope. Whether you're in recovery or supporting someone who is, this episode provides valuable insights and encouragement.
