Navigating mocktails with drinkers. Partying many years from graduating from PSU taking part in Penn State Tailgates, then moving to NYC and living ”Work Hard, Play even harder” mentality from Thursday, Friday happy hours to Saturday, Sunday day long brunches some known as the ”weekend warrior” drinker. Now the beach, pool ”Lax Life” of LA with many skinny, spicy margaritas it’s time to take a pause from the booze, however that doesn’t mean the partying will stop. I’m a big advocate in subing for the non-alcoholic mocktails and still being part of the fun, getting in on the action just feeling a bit more mentally clear. I find the social, fun, easy to plan aspect of grabbing drinks the best part. Let's face it getting coffee or matcha just doesn't cut it when it comes to a fun night out. Let’s taste test these new waves of ”Mocktails” even reward winning alcohol removed wines, non-alcohol beers & even liquor alternatives. Also a little secret I will be interviewing drinkers and see if they can be tricked into drinking the non-alcoholic alternative. Will you be a Mocktail OR Messy? Drinking doesn't have to be messy but we still like to get Messy with our interviews real drinks or Mocktails. I decided to take a vowel to take out alcohol OUT of my equation for a year. I'm enjoying it its not easy but my focus on what's in important in my life with no fogginess or Sunday morning hangovers are important. Let's educate, laugh & interview drinkers and non-drinkers over some fancy Mocktails or even real Cocktails for the drinkers that might want to get Messy. Will you be a Mocktail OR Messy? No judgment a little secret I use to in college throw the shot behind my head and my friends thought I was the most drunk but was completely sober. I believe having a Mocktail can have a placebo effect in feeling tipsy.
