Simply lay out the kit of spiritual tools for his inspection. Show him how they worked with you. Offer him friendship and fellowship. Tell him if he wants to get well, you’ll do anything to help. That’s the promise we need. Have any of you been told you never have to feel this way again if you don’t want to? How many of you found out you were lied to? You’re going to feel worse, but you won’t have to feel that way alone. And if you want to get well, I’ll walk with you while you do.”
