“If you see me when I’m out running and gunning in active addiction, you think my problem is I have a fondness for opiate drugs. That is a problem, but it’s not the main problem because you can take me off opiate drugs and I function much like normal men. So obviously, if you’re going to help me, you’ve got to not see the physical. You’re going to have to be able to see the spiritual.”
