“Something in me was like: I want others who are like me to experience this. Those would be the people that I want to be around just through lack of self-respect or worthlessness and stuff like that. If I stopped going to meetings and I stopped associating with my sponsors and stuff like that, I would have no choice but to hang out with everybody else, and unfortunately everybody else is bad for my health and that's a big thing of why I stay around now.”
