For me, a lot of this stuff was embedded in me, you know, because, well, my father's past and like, like you said, it's like a genetic. But we're like dude, I don't know how to change.
Tom Starr had everything going for him - a promising career as a barber at one of Northeast Ohio's top shops. But beneath the surface, he was battling a crippling addiction, feeling like a prisoner in his own mind. Known for his 'Master's Degree' in manipulation, Tom's self-destructive behavior led him to the brink of incomprehensible demoralization. His wake-up call came after an apparent overdose in a convenience store parking lot, coupled with a serious intervention from a coworker.
That moment marked the beginning of Tom's journey to recovery.
