Rok Soba: From Pub Brawls to Sober Rockstars
“Their message is clear: you don't need alcohol to have a good time.”
Kicking off Season 2 of 'One For The Road', David Wilson sits down with Lee and Shaun, the dynamic duo behind Rok Soba. Their story starts with an alcohol-fuelled pub brawl that nearly landed them in jail. That moment became a turning point, pushing them to leave their corporate jobs and embrace sobriety. In 2017, inspired by a dream, they launched Rok Soba, a brand that champions alcohol-free living with a rock and roll twist.
From accessories to merchandise, and eventually their own line of alcohol-free beers like 'Zero Fear', 'Voyager IPA', and '777 Belgian Triple', Rok Soba is all about breaking the stigma around sobriety. Lee and Shaun share their vision of creating rock sober festivals where fans can enjoy great music and alcohol-free drinks without the hangover.
