Growing up in a large Irish family where alcohol was always within reach, TJ began drinking at just 13 years old. It started as a way to manage his social anxiety and feelings of not measuring up. His journey to sobriety wasn't straightforward; he faced several failed attempts at recovery, each one motivated by a desire to please others rather than himself. But everything changed when TJ found Alcoholics Anonymous and the online AA group, the 4th Dimensioners.
Today, with nearly two years of continuous sobriety, TJ is a dedicated member of his home group. In this episode, TJ opens up to Jessica M and Mark about his path to recovery.
