“I got sober at 20 years old, and my drinking career was very short. It was all a half-ass, by the way. That was how life went without that drink. Before I drank, through schooling in high school and primary school, I was socially awkward, didn't fit in, and just felt different. I had a really tough time getting along with life. I had all the reasons before I drank I was restless it was dysentery um in my own skin couldn't control my emotions and just didn't know how to do it like and then when I found alcohol that all changed you know um i became this new person that all changed you know um i became this new person i could go through my day and do life you know and very quickly for me was you know get up and drink go to work and drink before school drink you know um for my first drink i knew i was an alcoholic i got out of my family and i drank differently you know uh when I, I just had to have more.”
