“"Boy, am I glad that I did. Because the garlic flat bread and the ragu pasta that I got was bloody delicious."”
Friday, 9th August 2024, was a day filled with simple pleasures and quiet reflections for Luke Hand. He started his day early, catching the V-line from Wanham Bull to Melbourne. The journey was picturesque, with a bit of fog and a low-glowing sun that painted a serene picture. Once in Melbourne, Luke enjoyed a packed lunch by the river near Crown and took a leisurely walk around town before heading to South Yarra.
His stop at Coles and Dan Murphy's was practical, but it was the Airbnb that truly delighted him. The cute little apartment offered a cozy retreat, where he enjoyed a warm shower and a restful nap bathed in sunlight streaming through the windows. Later, Luke's quest for dinner led him to Baby Pizza. Despite the bar menu lacking pizzas, he chose not to make a fuss and ordered garlic flatbread and ragu pasta instead.
His decision paid off as he found the meal absolutely delicious, so much so that he couldn't help but moan in delight. Ending his day on a high note, Luke felt grateful for the water pressure and heat in the Airbnb shower, rating his mood at 7 and his energy at 7.5. This episode is a gentle reminder to appreciate the small joys in life and embrace unexpected delights.
