One of the things that I tell families about change to try to give them some hope is, you know, we talk about change and we talk about how difficult it is to change or to help someone else change and to where change can seem impossible, but change is always inevitable. It's just the reality. And the whole trick is trying to change the direction of where is that momentum going to carry them.

Ever wondered how a consistent approach can change the course of addiction recovery? Brian Serna, a behavioral health trainer and consultant, joins the 'Coming Up for Air' team to share his incredible journey. With expertise in evidence-based practices, cultural nuances, and ethical issues, Brian has dedicated himself to making CRAFT (Community Reinforcement and Family Training) a daily practice for families dealing with addiction in New Mexico.
