You’ll hear Letitia recount the terrifying moment at a Chinese buffet when her vision narrowed, her speech vanished, and she told Jonathan, “I feel like I’m going to pass out” before everything went black. Jonathan fills in the gaps from his side: the panicked 911 call, the off-duty paramedic, and an emergency room team who initially suspected partying rather than stroke in a “healthy 34-year-old” on New Year’s Day.
The episode spends time on the hidden aftermath: an ICU stay, clot-busting treatment, rehab, and a rare setback called recrudescence that sent Letitia back to square one with speech and physical therapy.
