“So when they say some of the roots of addiction or lack of connection when we're drinking, it's releasing endorphins, and it's releasing the same endorphins that you would get from a loved one, from connecting, from your mother, rocking you from all the connections, and so sometimes people coming out of addiction, they have what's called attachment issues where they're avoidant, they can't.”
