“I was able to turn that into something incredibly powerful. Yeah, and that's the thing too, when we're stuck in shame or we're feeling humiliated and then that causes shame, if we can't see beyond that, and sometimes it's hard also when you're in it, but it can give us such gifts like it's propelled you into where you are now. Yeah, I hear what you're saying. And this might just be semantics, but I don't see it as that giving me a gift.”
