Hadar's Journey: Healing Through Prayer and Ancestral Connection

I realized like my inner child needed to hear them in her language. And I know that the healing that I'm doing is not just for me, that it's intergenerational and that by speaking these words in Hebrew, I'm also bringing into consciousness my parents and their parents, and even ancestors beyond that, who also prayed in Hebrew.

How can prayer become a bridge to healing? In this episode of ACA Tuesday Zoombox, Hadar opens up about her unique path of recovery, highlighting the transformative power of prayer. Growing up in a home marked by trauma and abuse, Hadar turned to the Adult Children of Alcoholics & Dysfunctional Families (ACA) program for solace and healing.

Her story reveals how reconnecting with her ancestral roots and speaking to her inner child in Hebrew brought a sense of love and belonging she had longed for. Hadar's experience underscores that recovery isn't just personal; it's intergenerational. By embracing prayer and language, she not only heals herself but also brings peace to her ancestral lineage. Tune in to hear Hadar's inspiring journey and discover how spirituality and cultural connections can play a pivotal role in recovery.
