Alcohol Tipping Point
Peter White joins the podcast to share his sobriety story. In his own words: “In 2014 I made the choice to, not only get sober but re-connect with my culture and traditions. After being diagnosed with cancer in my right foot in 2016, I knew I had to change something and I began to dance the men’s traditional category and I also partake in ceremonies. Since then I have been able to reach many people and share my story with other First Nation people that are struggling with connecting to their roots, as well as met many cultured and talented people." We talk about addiction in Indigenous communities, breaking the cycle, and normalizing sobriety.
