Untangle Denial & Create Harmonics

Untangle & Thrive Podcast

In this episode, we are going to look at how denial keeps a system in place. I am going to talk about White Fragility and how we can hide behind the "good person", the "non-racist", the "one who has no problems" and YET we are in total denial. Without rupturing denial we don't create the conditions to learn, grow, and organize in healthy ways. I am gonna talk about how denial serves to keep us in a system that offers us an advantage. We may not be conscious of this, but we want to locate it. Also, denial is a big pacifier that numbs us and doesn't ask anything from us. It is time for US people to puncture denial. Let's wake up to the problem of our life and greet reality. I will be reading the preface of my book and part of the introduction. I have been helping people untangle disorganized systems for over 20 years to create systematic transformation versus incremental self-willed change. I

Facing Denial: White Fragility and the Untangle Method™

We can't solve our problems if we are unwilling to locate them and are unable to accept we even have a problem.

Imagine living in a world where denial is your safety net, but it’s also the very thing holding you back. In this episode of 'Untangle & Thrive', Angela McKinney takes a bold step into the murky waters of denial, focusing on how it keeps us stuck in systems that benefit us while asking nothing in return.

She sheds light on the concept of White Fragility, challenging the facade of being a 'good person' or 'non-racist' and urging listeners to confront uncomfortable truths about themselves. Angela doesn’t just stop at identifying the problem; she offers a way out through her 3-Step system of self-care, the Untangle Method™. This method combines neurobiology with creativity, making it both insightful and practical.

Through candid storytelling and relatable examples, Angela guides you on a journey to break free from these systemic advantages and align with dignity, grace, and equality for all. Whether you're battling addiction or simply seeking personal growth, this episode is a must-listen. Tune in to open your eyes, mind, and heart to the realities we often choose to ignore.
